The Red Kalahari is a magical place and setting and you get absorbed by the majestically camelthorn trees standing in an ocean of white grass lands while the southern sun is creating the perfect balance of amazing views and nuances for a wedding day.

A destination wedding with a twist when two nature and hunting lover of life people say their I-dos on top of a red dune near Stampriet in the South of Namibia- A ceremony of amazing moments and then after ceremony drinks and canapes – a assortment of Cheese and Antipasti – a treat when the dunes of the Kalahari stretches for miles and miles 360 degrees.

The reception held in a metal barn created the perfect rustically backdrop for a classic setup with contemporary twists. Robust yellow tulips and Freesias mix with gum bells and meters on meters of green eucalyptus garlands stretched the wooden tables in Banquets of love and love talk… So mesmerizing to do installations of camelthorn branches with strings of mint and yellow ribbons, yellow roses that glow the sunshine and create the perfect backdrop for a lovely dinner dance

Not every day that a groom gets emotional and you stand in awe of the amazing power the heart has to love so unconditionally – The moments at this wedding continue and even the father and daughter dance became a moment to be cherish forever.

The service providers, the friends of Tamonika is where we cannot suppress our gratitude but only state our respect and adoration for them as suppliers to the event industry of Namibia and to us.

The food of the taste academy was mind-blowing yummy. it was not only tasteful but set in a buffet that made the tongue tingle… taste buds coming alive and capturing the essence of the wedding. The wedding cake designed and made by Mimi of Sugar craft was a double reveal with live orchids and the back a trendy hunting theme… truly a tongue and cheek moment.

There was not a element out of place and we truly enjoyed the experience.
