The real thing… There are so many people in this world that wait and lust after the real thing- the thing called L O V E.

We are so lucky to see this when we arrange and plan weddings for these lovely couples that have been in love for years at a time. The comfort, the realness but also the way these couples are completely content with each other.
Fabiana Strauss and Christoff Nieuwoudt was just such a couple, and the guest at their wedding was visible also people that had a great love for these two-special people. We call this a quint wedding because it was small, intimate it was heartfelt, it was warm but also it was genuine.

When Fabiana approached me the first time to organize the wedding, there was no bells and whistles that this wedding need to have but rather a statement “WOW ME” I want to gasp and also just do something completely differed than before.

At Tamonika we started planning and we loved the result- it was evergreen, it was dark and murky, it was glossy and demure while it still exuded charm, luxury, refinement and it had loads of drama.

An intimate small ceremony was held and even this gesture of love was romantic, it was so heartfelt and you could hear each and every breath this couple took while standing under the Chuppa designed with lots of greenery, a majestic chandelier while the wows was visible for everyone to see and to just absorb again…

After the lovely ceremony, the guest all snacked on a feast table of delight while sipping on ice cold drinks and waiting for the sun to go down and listening to the mellow sounds of Jaco Grappi Claassens, The hands of the Bauernstube team set out a spread of upper delight and then as all great weddings we had to endure some rain and wind…. But as in our Namibian custom we do not complain about rain on a wedding day – here it is seen as GOODLUCK

When the couple arrived back for their photo shoot that took place in the bushveld of Ankawini . As always, we show the couple prior to the guest what we have created for them and I could say both Christoff and Fabian was overjoyed with the end result.

A tropical paradise was created, suspended garlands, naked bulbs and a dramatical table set for 42 guest made for a real s thank you for creating this piece of paradise. keep you busy for hours- drinking the complexity and the design of this mesmerizing table. Filled with everything green, textural, plant ware and glass ware in the riches of greens.

A spectacular wedding cake by the talented Mimi Nel were a true centerpiece and even cheese platters for dessert that made you Wow again- The music continued throughout the evening and we could see that these guests are having a great time on the beats of Nacio FineTune Barlow

Christoff and Fabiana we loved working and sharing this amazing journey with you… We wish you a lifetime of happiness and everlasting love.
